Can we officially get married on the beach?

Yes. Castricum aan Zee is a designated official wedding location. With a registrar from the municipality of Castricum (or a celebrant for the day), you can officially say 'I do' on the beach or indoors at Zeezicht.

How many guests can we invite?

Accepted Answer

For a ceremony and dinner on the terrace, we can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests. For a reception and party, this can go up to 200. Intimate weddings of 20 guests or more are also very welcome.

Do you have a bad weather backup plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, always. Our pavilion has an indoor space with panoramic sea views, and we can cover the terrace with a stretch tent. We will make a decision together with you on the morning of the wedding.

Can you help with suppliers?

Certainly. We work with trusted florists (Bloemore), DJs, photographers, videographers, stylists, and registrars who know Zeezicht well. You are also always welcome to bring your own suppliers.

Is exclusive hire possible?

Yes. On wedding days, Zeezicht is generally set up exclusively for you and your guests. There will be no other guests in the restaurant; you will have the entire pavilion and terrace to yourselves.

Can we dine outside?

Absolutely. The terrace is perfect for a sunset dinner. For extra comfort, we provide candles, fairy lights, and, on cooler evenings, parasols with heating.

What time does the party have to end?

Accepted Answer

The party in the pavilion goes on until 01:00. For those who want to keep celebrating, a silent disco on the beach can be a wonderful way to end the night.

Are children welcome?

Of course. The beach is a paradise for children, and we have children's menus, highchairs, and, upon request, a children's entertainer to keep them occupied all day.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the beach and on the terrace. Many couples even have their dog play a role in the ceremony. Feel free to ask us about the possibilities.
