Real Wedding Story: Lennart & Natascha
A summer dream by the North Sea
"We didn't want an ordinary wedding. We wanted our guests to hear the sea, feel the sand and watch the sun set together with us."
Lennart and Natascha met at a surf camp in Scheveningen. The sea was in their DNA. When it was time for their big day, there was only one place in the running: Beach Pavilion Zeezicht in Castricum aan Zee. With 85 guests, a ceremony under the arbour and an evening full of laughter, tears and dancing: this was their perfect day.
Chapter 1
The Welcome
From 2:00 PM, guests trickled onto Zeezicht's sunny terrace. With a glass of champagne in hand and the sound of the waves in the background, everyone was warmly welcomed. The atmosphere was instantly wonderful: old friends embracing, family laughing together and the anticipation of what was to come.
Chapter 2
The Ceremony
At 4:00 PM, with the sun already low over the horizon, Natascha walked down a path of white rose petals towards Lennart. Under the wooden arbour, decorated with eucalyptus and white roses, they spoke their vows. The surf in the background was the only sound besides their words. Not a dry eye in the house.
Chapter 3
The Reception
After the emotional ceremony it was time to toast. Snacks were served on the terrace while the newlyweds were congratulated by everyone. The sun coloured the sky orange and pink, and the photographer captured the most beautiful moments. A saxophonist played soft jazz that perfectly matched the evening air.
Chapter 4
The Dinner
After the ceremony the guests sat down for a 4-course dinner on the terrace. The table was set with candles, fresh flowers and linen napkins. The chef prepared a menu of fresh North Sea fish, local vegetables and homemade pasta. The dessert, a crème brûlée with sea salt, was the talk of the evening.
Chapter 5
The Party
When the stars came out, the party really began. Lennart and Natascha's first dance under the lights was magical. The DJ spun until midnight, but the real highlight was the spontaneous fireworks over the sea. A surprise from Lennart's brother that no one will ever forget.
