Real Wedding Story: Maggie & Jimmy

Maggie and Jimmy got to know each other during a sailing weekend on the IJsselmeer. Ever since, water has been their element. For their wedding they were looking for a place where nature would be the decoration, and found Zeezicht. With 70 guests, a ceremony on the beach and an evening full of music and dance, it became a day no one will ever forget.
Chapter 1
The Welcome
Guests were welcomed with a refreshing Hugo cocktail and homemade snacks on the terrace. The sun was shining and the children soon ran towards the beach. Maggie and Jimmy had set up a polaroid corner where everyone could take a photo, a perfect keepsake of the start of a special day.
Chapter 2
The Ceremony
At 3:30 PM the guests gathered on the beach. Maggie appeared on her father's arm, barefoot on the warm sand. Jimmy waited for her under an arch of driftwood and wild flowers. Their self-written vows brought everyone to tears: honest, funny and full of love.
Chapter 3
The Reception
After the 'I do', Maggie and Jimmy walked through a guard of honour of soap bubbles. On the terrace the champagne glasses were already waiting. While an acoustic duo played softly, guests enjoyed fresh oysters and bruschetta. The golden evening light over the sea made the picture complete.
Chapter 4
The Dinner
On Zeezicht's terrace a beautifully set table was ready. Garlands of lights swayed in the sea breeze. The menu was an ode to the sea: oysters, grilled sea bass and a spectacular seafood platter. For dessert: a naked wedding cake with fresh berries and edible flowers.
Chapter 5
The Party
After dinner the live band kicked off with their favourite song. The dance floor filled up immediately. Jimmy surprised Maggie with a choreography he had secretly rehearsed, including a moonwalk that brought roars of laughter. At midnight they walked together to the waterline for a quiet moment, while the party continued behind them.
