Michael and Cassandra dreamed of a wedding without fuss, genuine, personal and surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. With their two sons as page boys and Beach Pavilion Zeezicht as the setting, it became a day full of emotion, laughter and love. The soft colours, light blue, pink, white and cream, reflected the calm of the sea and the warmth of their family.
Chapter 1
The Welcome
Suitcases full of anticipation, the guests arrived at Zeezicht. The atmosphere was instantly wonderful: the sun was shining, the sea glistened and laughter rang across the terrace. Michael and Cassandra had thought of every detail themselves, from the flowers by Bloemore to the handwritten name cards. A warm welcome that set the tone for the rest of the day.
Chapter 2
The Ceremony
On the beach, with the North Sea as a witness, Michael and Cassandra said 'I do'. Registrar Kim Pennasilico led the ceremony with warmth and humour. The children stood proudly beside their parents. When they kissed, cheers rang out and the first tears fell, of happiness, of emotion, of pure love.
Chapter 3
The Reception
After the ceremony there was a toast to the newlyweds. With a glass in hand and the setting sun as a backdrop, guests shared their fondest memories and wishes. The children ran through the sand, the mood was joyful and relaxed, exactly how Michael and Cassandra had wanted it.
Chapter 4
The Dinner
On Zeezicht's terrace a delicious dinner was served. The tables were decorated with soft tones and fresh flowers. As the sun slowly disappeared behind the horizon, the guests enjoyed every dish. The wedding cake, beautifully decorated, was cut to loud applause.
Chapter 5
The Party
When the stars appeared in the sky, the party began. Michael and Cassandra opened the dance floor with a moving first dance. The rest of the evening was filled with music, laughter and dancing feet. The highlight? A walk to the waterline at sunset, together, as a family, with the sea gently touching their feet.
